‘The Muppets’ is just the name of that band of performers. A human can be a Muppet. Walter is just a guy. Kermit is a frog. Miss Piggy is a pig. In this reality. That was given to me in the Muppet rule book by the puppeteers. I learned a lot. You don’t want to break the suspension of disbelief that these things are living creatures that exist in our world. As soon as you bring up the idea even of a puppet, you start to pull a thread that you don’t want to pull.
